The breakfast at Licuala Lodge was absolutely amazing, featuring delightful local ingredients and a stunning outdoor setting. It's a treat not to be missed!
One downside was the lack of air conditioning in the Queen Room, which was unexpected given the warm climate in the area. It would be beneficial if this was clearly indicated in the room descriptions.

beautiful gardens, stunning wildlife sightings, lovely pool
The lack of air conditioning made for a sweaty, uncomfortable night!!! A quieter fan option would be appreciated, as the current one disrupts sleep. The rooms could benefit from some updated décor as well!!!

this lodge looked nice, but the lack of air conditioning was a major letdown and definitely not expected for summer. also, having a fan that sounded like a jet engine made sleep impossible. lastly, i woudl ve been thrilled with a little welcome gift or special treatment for enduring the discomfort. guess that's too much to ask.

licuala lodge is a beautifull place in a lush garden. we loved each morning seeing the resident cassowary named charlie wandering around. breakfast was delish, with homemade treats and fresh fruits that felt personal. the room was spacious and very clean, perfect for ur stuff. the hosts, dawn and blair, were super friendly and made us feel like family!
the lack of air conditioning made the room humid at night which was uncomfortable. also, the fan was really loud and disrupted our sleep.
